Hay stoves in Nova Scotia
Nov. 21st, 2011 12:13 pmI am not offering N-Pee-K (or Royal Soil, as I decided to call it) at the moment, as I'm working at a bookstore for the holiday season. However I am still available for consultation to the interested.
This is an interesting article about the potential for biofuel in the province. I am in favour of this sort of renewables for space heating, not necessarily electricity generation, which is very inefficient. It would also be nice if we could explore the fuel potential of the alders and thorns that would replacce the farmland, as mentioned in the article. This would be a more permanent allocation of land for fuel generation at a later and more evolved stage of the woodland succession. Perhaps coppiced wood would add more fuel value than grass as well, I really don't know.
