I'm a gardener, illustrator and permaculture designer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, offering education and consulting.

Permaculture is an opportunity for lifelong learning of what is most important. David Suzuki called it "The most important work being done today". The journey toward truly permanent culture will be a long one but one that offers unlimited opportunity for work, beauty, learning and yields.

I can offer advice, troubleshooting, research, design and installation of pollinator gardens, high-density, low-maintenance food producing systems, forest gardens and food forests. I can get rid of unsightly lawn, though if you want someone to mow and aerate, there are lots of interested professionals out there! (I will make an exception if you are interested in managing your lawn with rabbits, geese, sheep or learning the art of reaping with a scythe). I also offer compost worms, castings and compost tea application.
