Yum Bakery (in the Annapolis Valley) roasts and grinds peanuts into peanut butter, and have done so since the 1970s. Find it for sale in many grocery stores and natural food stores and from Speerville Flour Mill. The peanuts themselves are imported of course; I did try growing some last year for the first time and got a few, but they need a lot of heat to yield much. Developing a fast-maturing peanut for our climate would be a worthy adventure.
